About

We are freshmen at the George Washington University, and born-and-bred New Yorkers most importantly, looking at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on NYC small businesses for a class project because we love our city and want to highlight the voices of those most impacted by the pandemic. We’re doing this research for a class concerned with Media and Culture during COVID-19, and we believe that by highlighting the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on NYC small businesses as compared to large businesses, we can make positive change in our community. In addition to interviewing key players in the small business industry, from arts to health to food & dining to beauty, we want to amplify voices by creating NYC small business guides and using our platform to reach a wider audience.
